England Under-21 boss Stuart Pearce feels his team fully capable of picking up the Under-21 European Championship trophy this summer. Speaking to The Sun, the former Manchester City manager said, "I think it would be massive for English football if we can win it.
"If we are good enough to win, and it is a big ask, I think three or four players in the squad will be on the plane to South Africa.
"It will showcase them and that is the important thing. This group know what it is like to win together.
"It has been a good week for the England teams at Under-21 and senior level. You can't do any better than seven victories in a row."
