England U21 boss Stuart Pearce can see one of his new youngsters winning a place in Fabio Capello's World Cup squad.
Pearce was delighted with his players after their Euro qualifying win over Portugal.
On their World Cup chances, Pearce said: "I don't think it's outlandish to think so to be honest with you.
"Three months ago, James Milner hadn't played for the seniors, all of a sudden he's got three or four caps now and playing very well by the way. Agbonlahor has been in the England squad, (Joe) Hart's in the England squad, Huddlestone's in the England squad, (Theo) Walcott's in and out of the seniors so it's not outlandish to think so. No one in this squad, in my opinion, is a million miles away from next summer. This is what we are, a feeder team for the seniors."
