Victor Moses has described West Ham United teammate Dimitri Payet as one of the best players he has graced a football pitch with.
The French attacking midfielder scored a match-winning double as the Hammers defeated Newcastle United 2-0 on Monday night, prompting words of praise from Chelsea loanee Moses, who made his debut for the East London club.
"Payet is definitely up there with the best players I've played with; he's got huge ability as his showed with both his goals," Moses told West Ham TV.
"His touch, his skill he's quick too, he's definitely up there with the best I've played alongside with."
Payet opened the scoring in the 9th minute with a beautifully guided curling effort from the edge of the area before doubling West Ham's advantage in the 48th minute when side-footing home a volley after Moses' dazzling run resulted in his effort rebounding back off the crossbar.
