Pavlyuchenko to thrash out Tottenham future next week

Roman Pavlyuchenko is ready for talks over his Tottenham future next week.

The Russia striker's agent will fly into London for talks with the White Hart Lane hierarchy as Stoke City and Lokomotiv Moscow prepare £11million bids for the 28-year-old, says the Daily Mail.

"Right now, Roman is on holiday," said Oleg Artemov, the player's agent. "He doesn't want to think about football in general, let alone the particulars of his future. So the situation isn't clear.

"Pavlyuchenko could leave Tottenham but it depends on many factors. We need to all sit down and talk together calmly: Roman and I, Spurs and of course Harry Redknapp. It's still not known whether he needs Pavlyuchenko or not.

"The main problem is in Roman's head. He is now at a crossroads and he needs to make a choice.

"So far Pavlyuchenko has not decided whether he wants to stay at Tottenham, go to another European club or return to Russia."
