Paul Pogba is ready to sit on his contract at Manchester United and allow it to run down.
The Athletic says Pogba is looking to leave United on a free when his contract expires in 2022.
The Frenchman has struggled to get in the side this season and said he 'had never known such a difficult period in my career' while away on international duty, leading to speculation he could leave in the summer.
However, Pogba sees the end of next season as the best time to leave.
The midfielder is confident he will have 'his pick' of clubs to choose from to join on a free transfer.
