Paul Glatzel is set to land a pro deal with Liverpool.
The Liverpool Echo says Glatzel is set to sign his first professional contract with the club next week.
The teenage frontman is expected to put pen to paper when he celebrates his 18th birthday on Wednesday. It's reward for the huge progress he's made over the course of this season.
The Liverpool Under-18s captain scored his 22nd goal of the season in last week's FA Youth Cup win over Wigan Athletic which booked the Reds a quarter-final tie against Bury.
He has established a prolific partnership with Bobby Duncan, who is only one behind him in the scoring charts.
