Alexandre Pato will make his first appearance for Chelsea in the next five days.
Reports suggest that the Brazilian striker, who is on loan from Corinthians, will debut in either Tuesday night's trip to Norwich City or Saturday's home clash with Stoke City.
Ahead of the clash with the Canaries at Carrow Road, manager Guus Hiddink hinted at the prospect of number one striker Diego Costa being rested which would likely hand a debut to former AC Milan forward Pato.
"He is eager and of course we now have healthy competition between the strikers, in a very good atmosphere, with Diego the No1," said the Dutchman.
Pato arrived in West London in late January but has not yet featured for the Blues as he has been busy getting to full match fitness.
