Pato still of interest to Chelsea and Man Utd

Alexandre Pato is still on the radar of Chelsea and Manchester United according to the Daily Mail.

The Corinthians forward has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs in recent months and although it had been reported a potential to the UK had fallen over, his name remains on the winter transfer list of some clubs.

Chelsea are still showing interest in the former AC Milan star, who scored 10 goals while on loan at Sao Paulo last season, as they look to sort their striker problems.

Diego Costa's form is up and down, Loic Remy continues to be a bit-part player and Radamel Falcao has no future at Stamford Bridge which has Guus Hiddink scouring the market for a new goalscorer.

It has been suggested that the West Londoners have opened preliminary talks with 27-time Brazil international Pato.

United boss Louis van Gaal is still believed to be seeking a back-up option for Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial and 26-year-old Pato reportedly remains an option for the Red Devils.
