Parma goalkeeper Gigi Buffon insists there's no plans to retire at the end of the season.

The 43 year-old returned to his formative club this summer after coming off contract at Juventus.

He said: "My head and body are responding very well and at the moment I am not considering the idea of giving up.

"I realise that I am a very important player for my teammates and the Parma fans.

"For me, this is very gratifying."
