Parma coach Roberto Donadoni will stick with Antonio Cassano for today's clash with Cesena.
Cassano is threatening legal action over unpaid wages.
Donadoni said: "Is Cassano called up? I don't see why he shouldn't be. Cassano is a member of this squad, then if the club makes another decision I'll abide by it, but technical decisions are purely down to me.
"Nobody said Cassano is frozen out of the squad. I do not have to clarify what every paper says. I have my squad and decide on the basis of training sessions, as I always have done. I don't need to discuss anything else."
