Parma captain Alessandro Lucarelli has slammed the club's financial meltdown.

Parma's president Giamperti Manenti was arrested yesterday.

"I am bitter, there's a desire to shut everything down," Lucarelli said.

"This has turned into a disgusting farce. It's been hard to take to the pitch for some time now, and we're still taking blows," said Lucarelli, in reference to the team's results as well as to events off the pitch.
