Crystal Palace chief Steve Parish says the next owner must be the right one for the club.
American billionaire Josh Harris is in talks over a £70 million deal for Palace.
Parish, along with co-owners Martin Long, Steve Browett and Jeremy Hosking, are only willing to sell to investors with the club's best interests at heart.
Parish told the Croydon Guardian: "We are four co-owners who want the best thing for the club.
"Anyone who buys this club, we would be very interested in what their plans were, how they plan to move it forward, what they want to invest.
"If what they are going to invest wisely is what we feel the club needs and can take it forward, then we would look at it."
