Palmeiras coach Ferreira: Shut up Ten Hag!

Palmeiras manager Abel Ferreira has taken a shock swipe at Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag.

The latter had recently stated that his forward Marcus Rashford was injured in a recent Premier League game against Everton due to fixture congestion.

No team in the top European leagues has played more games since the World Cup than Manchester United - with Rashford involved in nearly all of them.

"Football here has fantastic things, but there are others that are inhuman," Palmerias boss Ferreira is quoted as saying by ESPN Brasil in response to those comments.

"[We have to play] nine games in one month! The Manchester United coach complained the other day that Rashford was injured due to the sequence of games he has.

"I'd like to ask him or tell him: 'In these next two months, I'm going to have nine games a month'. Shut up, because you don't know what you say."
