Palermo president urges Tottenham to bid for Cavani, Kjaer

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has encouraged Tottenham to make concrete their interest in Simon Kjaer and Edinson Cavani. Sicilian sources say Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is planning a double raid on Palermo for defender Kjaer and striker Cavani.

"Tottenham are supposedly interested in making a €35 million (£28m) offer for both players," Zamparini told TMW. "If the side are actually able to make such an offer as this, I will let the two players leave.

"On Cavani, I can confirm that he is interested in joining Inter, but Moratti has never asked me for the player."
