Palermo have tabled a £7 million bid for Flamengo attacking midfielder Renato Augusto.

Rosanero sports chief Rino Foschi confirmed their interest in the Brazilian youngster last week, though Flamengo have already told him that it will take at least twice their opening bid to land the player.
