Palacios agent reveals Real Madrid 'looking for goalscorer'

Real Madrid have pulled back from plans to sign River Plate midfielder Exequiel Palacios.

The youngster's agent admits they're looking to strengthen other positions.

Renato Corsi said, "Due to the current state of Real Madrid, the issue of selling Palacios is pretty cold. They are not going to buy him to be the savior, they are looking for an attacker who will score a lot.

"I spoke with people from Real Madrid three days ago. They continue to say that they are very interested in Palacios, but right now, the transfer seems colder. If Palacios leaves River Plate, it will be for an amount greater than his release clause. At the time, we raised the issue with Real Madrid and they agreed. When the sale will be completed, we will wish to leave on good terms with the club that formed him.

"All is not desperate for a transfer. He has his feet on the ground and he is happy."
