Crystal Palace midfielder Ben Watson has cooled talk of moving to Reading.

"I don't know anything of Reading's interest," he told the Croydon Guardian. "I'm the same as everyone else. I've only read it in the papers.

"It's nice to be linked with other clubs, but it's not affecting me, I'm just going out there playing my game and what happens, happens.

"January is round the corner so I don't know what's going to happen."
