Palace loan striker Doyle desperate to avoid Wolves return

Kevin Doyle is desperate to make it at Crystal Palace.

The Irish striker is on-loan from Wolves until January.

"It took a little while for me to settle in to things at Palace, but I feel fit and ready to go and I'm eager to take the chances that will hopefully come my way," the 31-year-old forward told the Sunday World.

"The way it stands at the moment, I will be heading back to Wolves in a couple of months time, but I'd like to try and stay at Palace for the rest of the season.

"If I can get into the Palace team and score a few goals, then hopefully the club will keep me here. I have to say it is fantastic to be back in the Premier League after being away for a few years."
