Crystal Palace paid a bargain basement fee for former Celtic midfielder Joe Ledley last month.

The South London Press says Palace paid just £250,000 to snap up Ledley from Celtic.

There is a further payment - of a similar amount - if Palace manage to stay in the top flight.
