Crystal Palace are confident of securing Jerome Thomas to a deal.

The winger was released by West Bromwich Albion this week.

"The deal had hit a slight hitch but I think it's going to be all right - it's being ironed out," Palace chairman Steve Parish told the Croydon Advertiser.

"We're hopeful we'll get that one announced in the next couple of days."
