Crystal Palace are chasing Norwich City goalkeeper John Ruddy.
The Mirror says Palace boss Neil Warnock wants an experienced keeper to compete for the No 1 spot with Julian Speroni, who is out of contract at the end of the season.
Ruddy stayed loyal to the Canaries after their relegation from the Premier League last season but would be tempted by a move back to the top flight with the south Londoners.
He has two and a half years left on his contract so Norwich are unlikely to let him go for less than £4million.
