Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock admits midfielder Ben Watson could be sold in January.
Middlesbrough, Reading and Blackburn Rovers are among clubs to be linked with the England U21 international this season.
"I'm talking to Ben and we've got to decide what's best for both parties," Warnock told the South London Press.
"He's doing well at the moment and there's been no interest. But I wouldn't write off anybody going. Somebody could make an offer which is too good to turn down."
