Palace boss Warnock feared losing Everton target Moses

Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock admits they came close to losing Victor Moses in the summer.

Everton are the latest Premier League side to be linked with the talented forward and Warnock is braced for more interest when the transfer window reopens in January.

"I spoke to three or four Premier League clubs about Victor on Tuesday," Warnock told the Croydon Advertiser.

"What I think will happen now is they look at him and make a decision on him by Christmas.

"As a manager, I'm delighted to still have him on board - but I feel sorry for the chairman a bit because he keeps on putting in the money."
