Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis doesn't believe Alan Pardew's influence will be missing from Newcastle United today.

Pardew will not be in the ground as he serves his three-match stadium ban for headbutting Hull's David Meyler.

Pulis said: "Alan will have more control than people think. With technology today, you can always have your finger on the pulse.

"I am sure they would have sorted that."
