Palace boss not stressing about Speroni future

Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis is not too concerned about the future of goalkeeper Julian Speroni.

The 34-year old Argentine is out of contract at Selhurst Park this summer but Pulis wants him to harness his energies on keeping the Eagles in the Premier League rather than focusing on a new deal.

"I see Julian playing the next nine games, hopefully keeping us in the Premier League - from that point onwards we'll talk," he told South London Press.

Speroni, who joined Palace from Dundee in 2004, has started all 29 of the south London club's Premier League fixtures this season. The Eagles are currently placed 17th on the table, three points clear of the drop zone.
