Wales boss Rob Page says everyone associated with the national side is rallying around midfielder Ethan Ampadu.
The youngster received a red card shortly before the hour mark in their final Euro 2020 group game against Italy.
Everyone on the Welsh bench was stunned at the decision to give Ampadu his marching orders for a slightly late challenge.
"He's disappointed, of course he is," Page told reporters after the game, per Wales Online.
"I haven't seen it back yet, but I thought it was a harsh decision at the time. I thought it might have been a yellow.
"He's a young lad and he wants to be a part of this major tournament and that will hamper that slightly.
"He'll learn from it and come back bigger and stronger for having gone through this experience. He might not believe that now but the lads are rallying around him. The staff are rallying around him and we'll make sure he's OK."
