Reece Oxford will sign a new long-term contract at West Ham this week, according to Sky Sports.

The highly-rated central defender is expected to sign his new deal on his 18th birthday on Friday following lengthy negotiations.

Oxford, whose current contract expires in 2018, has previously been linked with a move away from the Hammers, with Manchester United reportedly interested.
