Oxford United have confirmed they are in talks to bring Luke Garbutt back to the club next season.

The Everton fullback enjoyed a successful spell with the League One club.

"We're still speaking to Garbs and his parent club," the U's boss told the Oxford Mail. "We probably need another one or two on the left.

"We would be looking for a left-footed player, ideally we'll bring Garbs back."
