Owusu yet to commit to Adelaide United

Lloyd Owusu has yet to commit to Adelaide United as English clubs continue to show interest.

The Cheltenham Town striker has been in Australia for the past two weeks and looked set to sign a two-year deal with the Reds but has still yet to make his decision.

"Lloyd Owusu told me that he's happy to stay in Adelaide and we're currently in the middle of negotiations," said his agent Richie Hinton.

"But there's always a possibility a UK club might come out of the blue."

English club Brighton, who Owusu joined on loan last season, are still hopeful of striking a deal with the 32-year old.

"I don't think the fact he stayed out there for a few days is significant. He's just enjoying a holiday," Brighton boss Russell Slade said.

"He has stayed out there longer than we thought, but I'm confident we'll have a decision soon."
