Lloyd Owusu is still in Adelaide, contemplating his next move for his future. The Cheltenham Town striker has also engaged the assistance of his partner, Dutch-born model Sam Nelemans and their six-month old daughter Ajaya Ama to help make the decision.
Owusu has been offered a contract by Adelaide United but needs to ensure that living in the 'City of Churches'is what he and his family are looking for.
Nelemans said that the major factor was if the pair can find care for their daughter and also weather.
"Babysitters, that's a big thing for us," Nelemans said.
"In England, we're OK with babysitters, we've got friends all with young babies. But we don't know anyone here yet.
"Obviously, I'd like sunshine and I haven't warmed up to Adelaide yet," she added.
Owusu said he was happy to finally meet Reds coach Aurelio Vidmar and admitted it could be the forming a good relationship.
"It was nice putting a face to the name, finally," Owusu said after meeting Vidmar.
"He's not seen me play and he's done a lot of homework on me - and I've done a lot of homework on Adelaide United.
"That combination could be good for everyone."
