Manchester City's Nicolas Otamendi is hoping to guide his new team to Premier League and Champions League glory.

City continued their summer spree by securing the services of Argentine star Nicolas Otamendi from Valencia for an initial fee of £28.5million recently and his signing has been seen as a huge boost for the club.

Upon his arrival, Otamendi has revealed his high ambitions by stating that he wants to help City win the Premier League as well as the Champions League.

Otamendi said: "It would be a dream to fight for the Champions League and win the Premier League. A club like City has to aspire to these kinds of things. Obviously every player hopes to win titles. In the European competitions it's important to think game by game to gain confidence."
