Ostersunds FK has dismissed talk of losing coach Ian Burchnall to Carlisle United.

Burchnall was linked with the Cumbrians last week. However, OFK insist the reports are wide of the mark.

"Of course, that's not true. We haven't talked to any other coach. Ian is under contract and we have no desire to break that contract," OFK CEO Lennart Ivarsson told the club's website.

OFK Chairman Maria Wilén also said: "If only the media had called and asked us if it was true that we were talking to other coaches, we would of course have been able to dismiss this immediately and thus the media would not have come out with incorrect information."
