Osman wants Everton to continue with battling displays

Everton midfielder Leon Osman wants more of the same after the Toffees 2-1 victory over Newcastle. Having been knocked out of the FA Cup by npower Championship side Reading the Toffees bounced back to come-from-behind for the win at St James' Park.

"It was important that we put it right," said Osman. "It was good to go up to Newcastle and do it and now it would be nice to do it in front of the home fans as well.

"It showed a lot of character.

"Moving up the table is what we're aiming for, we haven't had the greatest season but we are trying to put that right but if we take our eye off the ball for one second we will be punished."
