Australian national team coach Holger Osieck has named a 23-man squad for two friendlies next month. The Socceroos meet New Zealand in Adelaide on June 5 before heading to Melbourne for a clash with Serbia two days later and Osieck has put together a fairly strong squad for the double header.
Captain Lucas Neill has been included despite having some groin problems but Tim Cahill, Harry Kewell, Mark Schwarzer and David Carney were all not selected as they strive to recover from late-season injuries.
