Osasuna break Cadiz hearts on LaLiga return

Osasuna defeated Cadiz in their opening game of the new season.

Adrian Lopez scored Osasuna's first 10 minutes in and then Ruben Garcia added another with 10 minutes remaining.

It was a brilliant Oier Sanjurjo pass right through the middle of the Cadiz defence that set Adrian up for the opener, with the veteran striker nudging the ball past David Gil.

Jorge Pombo tried to lead Cadiz back into it and the home side called for a penalty for handball just after the break too, but nothing fell for them.

The newly promoted side didn't give up and kept pushing, but they conceded again just as they were looking their most dangerous.

The Cadiz defence was opened up again and this time Ruben Garcia was able to swivel and fire into the net to ensure the three points went back to Pamplona.
