Orlando City SC travel to the RFK Stadium to take on DC United on Wednesday night.
The Lions dominated proceedings when the two teams last met at the Citrus Bowl at the start of April but Luis Silva's late intervention gave DC the victory.
Ahead of the midweek road trip, head coach Adrian Heath is eager to improve on that result after putting in a fine display to no avail against Ben Olsen's side last time out.
"I would certainly settle for the same performance we gave them last time, because we were excellent on the day and missed probably seven or eight glorious opportunities," said Heath.
"So, if we can play anything remotely as good as we did a few weeks ago, I'll be delighted and then we'll take whatever comes from that.
"But, DC United are traditionally very good at home, and we don't expect anything different. We know we'll have to play well to get a result."
Orlando came from two goals down to force a 2-2 draw with New England Revolution on the weekend to sit in seventh position on the Eastern Conference table with nine points from nine outings.
