Aston Villa goalkeeper Orjan Nyland isn't giving up on his Villa Park career.

The Norway international goalkeeper was installed as the club's No.1 after joining from FC Ingolstadt in August 2018, but has not featured since rupturing his Achilles in December.

“I am part of everything the team does, and in a way I am part of it even though I have not been able to play yet," said Nyland.

“It can turn fast in football. It happened in a negative sense for me last year.

"Injuries and such things happen quickly, so it's all about being ready."
