Oriol Romeu: Southampton must be braver - and score goals

Southampton midfielder Oriol Romeu insists they can start climbing the table after the international break.

Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Everton at St Mary's was their fifth in six home games this term.

After the next game at Arsenal, they face Watford, Norwich, Newcastle, West Ham and Aston Villa in what is a real opportunity to climb the table.

Romeu, 28, said: “We can scratch some points and get back to where we want to be.

“We've got Arsenal next, which is going to be hard, but after that we've got five games and there we need to be really sharp.

“We need to be braver, more clinical and score more goals."
