The race for Oostende defender Jack Hendry is heating up.
The Daily Mail says the 26-year-old only joined Oostende on a permanent deal at the start of the window as they took up a £1.8million option to sign him from Celtic after he impressed on loan last season.
However, the Belgian side are open to making a quick profit on the stylish 6ft 5ins centre-back who was voted player of the year in Belgium last season.
Hendry, who was part of Scotland's squad at Euro 2020, has attracted enquiries from Burnley, Southampton, West Brom, Sheffield United and Newcastle while Italian side Torino are also interested.
Oostende value Hendry at around the £8million mark but Sportsmail understands a deal could be struck for around £4m which has alerted clubs looking for a late bargain.
