Onuoha admits Quinn big influence on Sunderland move

Nedum Onuoha admits Sunderland chairman Niall Quinn had a big influence over his loan move from Manchester City.

Quinn remains a legend at City having played for the club from 1990-96, and Onuoha was sold on the move after talking to the Black Cats' chairman.

"Everything Niall said to try and get me to the club was magnificent," Onuoha told safc.com. "He sold the club to me beautifully.

"There was only ever going to be one option as soon as the offer came."
