Olivier Giroud and Chelsea remain at contract deadlock.

The veteran centre-forward comes off contract in June and saw offers from Lazio and Tottenham blocked by Chelsea in the final days of the winter market.

Calciomercato.com says amid interest from Inter Milan, it's emerged Chelsea have attempted to secure the 33 year-old to new terms.

Chelsea have offered Giroud a new 12-month arrangement - which he has turned down.

Instead, Giroud is demanding a two-year contract to stay with the Blues.
