Oliver McBurnie has signed a one-year contract extension with Swansea City that will see him stay at the Liberty Stadium until June 2019.

The 20-year-old arrived from Bradford in July 2015 before loan stints with Sky Bet League Two sides Newport and Bristol Rovers last season.

He netted two goals on his first-team debut during the Swans' 3-1 EFL Cup win over Peterborough United in August.

This came days before making his Premier League debut against Leicester.
