Arsenal legend David O'Leary has criticised manager Arsene Wenger for not buying a new striker in January.
Despite conceding a big-money signing may never have been a possibility, O'Leary expected Wenger to reinforce his secondary options, especially in attack.
"You might not get that big signing that you really want, but I thought that at least they'd improve their bench," he said.
"They've been trying to get rid of Nicklas Bendtner for ages and I thought they'd bring someone in who's better than him. I was very surprised by that."
