Aston Villa midfielder Daniel Johnson has joined Oldham Athletic on a month's loan.

The midfielder spent the first three months of the season on loan at Chesterfield, where he made 13 appearances in all competitions.

Now he is set for a return to League One with the Latics, who are managed by Lee Johnson.
