Oldham Athletic are swooping for Crystal Palace striker Freddie Ladapo.

The Croydon Advertiser says Ladapo looks set to complete a loan move to Oldham Athletic on Monday.

The former Margate man was on the verge of going to the League One side at the start of August, before Alan Pardew pulled the plug due to a striker shortage.

Ladapo has since been part of the first team squad against West Bromwich Albion and Tottenham Hotspur, but was left out against AFC Bournemouth.

It is now believed the 23-year-old will make the move to Boundary Park at the start of next week.
