OH Leuven sack manager Nigel Pearson

OH Leuven have sacked manager Nigel Pearson.

Former Leicester City boss Pearson has been sacked as manager of Belgian second-division side OH Leuven.

OHL are, like Leicester, owned by the King Power International Group and Pearson was appointed manager in September 2017.

The Belgian club said in a statement that the 55-year-old's "extensive know-how and experience" had helped the club, but said they could not look past "the bad results that have put OHL in a difficult position".

Leuven have won one, drawn one and lost six of their last eight league games.
