Seongnam Ilhwa captain Sasa Ognenovski netted a 24th minute penalty as his side twice came from behind to eventually draw 2-2 with Gwangju Sangmu in Korea.
The former Adelaide United defender equalised for the Pegasus after they went behind when Gwangju's Soo-Yeon Kim netted in the 16th minute. Won-Kwon Choi put Gwangju ahead on the hour-mark but Seongnam again rallied to level through Do Namkung 20 minutes from time. The draw forced Seongnam to drop to fourth as Gwangju remained at the foot of the K-League table.
In other matches in Korea, Ulsan Horang-i were too good for Incehon United, winning 3-0 at home, Jeonbuk Motors moved to third with a 3-1 win over Chunnam Dragons, FC Seoul stayed second after their 3-1 victory over Busan I'Park, Jose Mota scored a double to help Suwon Bluewings to a 2-0 win at home against Pohang Steelers, Gyeongnam had a narrow 1-0 victory over Daejeon Citizen and Jeju United stayed on top with a commanding 3-0 away win at Daegu.
