Odegaard and Ramsdale completing Arsenal medicals

Real Madrid midfielder Martin Odegaard is a step closer to signing for Arsenal.

Sky Sports says Odegaard has completed his Arsenal medical ahead of his move from Real Madrid.

He is, however, unlikely to take part in Sunday's game against Chelsea as his visa application process is ongoing.

The deal is £30m plus bonuses, in a total deal worth £34m. Personal terms have been agreed.

Aaron Ramsdale is also having his Arsenal medical ahead of completing his move from Sheffield United.

Arsenal keen to get the deal done so Ramsdale can be part of the squad for Sunday's game.

The deal will see Arsenal pay an initial £24m, plus £6m in add ons, based on Ramsdale becoming the long-term No 1 at the club.
