Ipswich Town have captured Celtic defender Darren O'Dea on a loan deal until January. The Republic of Ireland international will train with Ipswich on Wednesday morning and will be in contention to feature in the weekend's Championship game against Crystal Palace.
The 23-year-old has experience of playing in the English second tier after a loan stint at Reading during the first half of last season.
He has made in excess of 60 appearances during his Celtic career and was at Parkhead when Ipswich boss Roy Keane played for the club.
