O'Brien expects Becchio to sign new Leeds deal

Leeds United loanee Andy O'Brien believes Argentine striker Luciano Becchio will remain at the club.

O'Brien, who is on loan from Bolton, expects the 26-year old to attract plenty of attention as he comes out of contract but is confident an Elland Road stay is on the cards.

"Luciano's coming into form which, when you're out of contract, is great," he told the Yorkshire Evening Post.

"Everyone at Leeds is hoping the club can keep him. He's a decent age and he's one of the top scorers in the Championship. People will be looking at him.

"But there's a nucleus of a fantastic team here and some really good players. The future bodes well."
